Repair and maintain a variety of Park facilities including irrigations systems, sinks, storm drains, underground, water lines, piping, quick couplers, valves, compressed air lines, sanitary sewer, natural gas lines, bathroom fixtures, restaurant fixtures, misters, pumps, etc.
Make daily rounds of all restroom facilities. Make needed repairs to toilets and sinks. Unclog toilets as needed.
Perform general maintenance on pumps and motors.
Work assignments will include ditch digging, trouble shooting, shop and area clean up, driving company vehicles and equipment, special work for promotional events.
Install new fixtures and fabricate items as necessary. Cut and prepare pipe for new usages.
Cross trained in minimal diagnostic coverage of kitchen and HVAC equipment.

Perform a wide variety of duties to diagnose, repair and calibrate machines and equipment to include all mechanical, electrical and electronic components and controls
Principal Responsibilities
Diagnose operating problems on all varieties of regular and complicated machines and equipment. Use voltage meters, ohm meters, phase rotation tester, micrometers, torque wrenches, gauge blocks, precision squares, oscilloscope and laser equipment as necessary for diagnostic and repair/alignment purposes.
Work from drawings, specifications and schematics. Perform skilled fitting of bearings and spindles and align machine components. May be required to scrape ways. Lay out and machine complicated replacement parts requiring involved machine setups and operations.
Perform a wide variety of electrical installation and maintenance work on plant electrical systems, equipment and apparatus. Lay out and install complex wiring circuits and distribution centers in accordance with codes. Diagnose and repair problems with a wide variety of electronic controls requiring knowledge of relay logic, digital logic, ladder drawings and diagrams.
Perform necessary millwright duties to install and wire new equipment or to remove old equipment.
Follow all lock out/tag out rules and procedures. Maintain area in a clean and orderly manner. Carry out department policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Assist in the installation of HVAC systems, including ductwork, wiring, refrigerant piping and hydronic mechanisms.
The apprentice installer works and learns under the direction of the lead installer.
