ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and control panels.
Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment to minimize downtime.

Marshall Industries Inc., an employee-owned company established in 1975, is a leader in the Audio/Video integration industry and we are currently seeking an Audio Video Installation Technician to join our team. We serve a wide range of sectors including Healthcare, Education, House of Worship, Communications, and Commercial AV.
Primary Role:
Responsible for the installation and troubleshooting of electronic communication systems, including but not limited to Nurse Call, Pro Sound, Paging, Intercom, Security/Access Control & CCTV. The Audio Video Technician / Level 1 is responsible for installing the systems in the most efficient and effective manner. All installations must meet the highest quality standards set forth by Marshall Industries, while assuring a professional and safe working environment. Our apprenticeship program offers training if you have experience in construction, electronics, technology and are motivated and eager to learn a new trade!
Responsibilities:
Pulling of electronic cable
Responsible for the basic wiring and installation of hardware
Responsible for the operation of cable testing equipment
Meet all installation deadlines
Responsible for accurate tracking on time sheets, service/installation tickets and inventory items
Full compliance with company's and customer's safety program
Operation of power tools
Other duties as required or assigned by company management
Qualifications
Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:
Minimum 18 years of age
Valid and current driver's license
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well-organized
Superior customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong interpersonal skills: ability to work with diverse groups
Proficiency in the use of personal computers, knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook
Must be able to effectively handle stressful situations
Must be able to read and effectively interpret general business documentation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to plan, organize and implement skills allowing the successful completion of the projects that are date sensitive
Requirements:

Physical Requirements:
Ability to handle heavy equipment and tools, and to work in various environments, including confined spaces and at heights

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team. This role supports a major limestone operation and requires strong troubleshooting skills, independence, and the ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Responsibilities
Perform electrical installation, maintenance, and repair on industrial and mining equipment.
Troubleshoot 480V systems, motors, motor controls, and power distribution.
Work with PLCs, including Allen-Bradley, for diagnostics and basic programming adjustments.
Maintain conveyors, crushers, screens, bag houses, and other aggregate processing equipment.
Perform electrical inspections and ensure compliance with company and safety standards.
Travel to various terminals across the West Coast to support electrical needs of the operation.
Document work performed and communicate effectively with supervisors and onsite teams.
Requirements
3-5 years of industrial or mining electrical experience required.
Strong knowledge of 480V, MCCs, motor controls, and troubleshooting.
Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs (diagnostics, I/O, VFDs, etc.).
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Strong safety mindset and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
