Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for specific technical design aspects of an assigned major project, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions that best meet the client's needs. Provides professional architectural consultation in the planning, designing, and coordinating of large complex projects. Independently applies advanced architectural concepts and designs. Carries out complex or novel assignments requiring developing new or improved techniques and procedures. May provide technical guidance to less experienced architects/architectural staff.
An unlicensed designer who is competent in all conventional aspects of architecture. Performs work requiring independent judgment in evaluation, selection, and adaptation/modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria. Independently solves problems encountered. All work shall be reviewed by the supervising licensed architect, who will provide technical guidance and instruction.

5 Minimum Years of Experience as an architectural designer
2-year Professional Degree in Architecture (or related field of study) from an accredited College or University
Knowledge of building construction details and materials
Demonstrated skills in English for both oral and written communications
Skill and Experience with all aspects of project delivery, including conceptual design and programming, schematic design, design development, construction document production, consultant coordination, client interaction, construction administration, etc.
Working knowledge of building, accessibility, and life safety codes
Able to work collaboratively in a team environment
LEED Accredited Professional (AP) is desired

Lead the design, development, and deployment of SBT solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and business objectives.
Configure and maintain Guidewire SBTs for commercial insurance products
Define scalable and maintainable SBT architectures that support rapid product rollout and jurisdictional flexibility.
Familiarity with ISO and AAIS standards and should convert them into Guidewire configurable solutions using Product Designer or APD
Guide and mentor developers and configuration specialists, fostering best practices in Guidewire development and SBT usage.
Collaborate with product owners and actuarial teams to align templates with business needs
Customize rating algorithms, forms, and rules based on state-specific requirements
Monitor regulatory updates and ensure timely template adjustments
Develop technical documentation and lead enablement sessions for internal teams on SBT frameworks and enhancements.
Provide technical documentation and training to internal stakeholders
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SBT performance and integration
Establish and enforce coding standards, review deliverables, and ensure high-quality implementation of SBTs.
Identify opportunities for automation, performance optimization, and template reuse across product lines.
Participate in POC /RFPs and assist in task planning, estimation, scheduling

Requirements
The requirements must have are:
7+ years of relevant experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership or Architectural role focused on SBT and Commercial lines of insurance.
Strong proficiency in GOSU, Guidewire configuration, integration, and PolicyCenter data model.
Experience designing scalable, modular solutions within Guidewire environments.
Understanding of insurance regulatory requirements and jurisdictional variations.
Experience with Guidewire Studio and configuration best practices.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex projects on time and within scope.
