This Application Architect is responsible for supporting the implementation of UHS Radiology & Cardiology Information Systems and related applications across 26+ acute care hospitals. Key Responsibilities include: System Implementation: Regularly meets with users, vendors, stakeholders, consultant and IS staff to develop/modify system specifications. Five years of experience in a clinical or healthcare environment supporting Cardiology and Radiology Information Systems. Proven track record in implementing and maintaining Radiology/Cardiology Information Systems; experience with Cerner RadNet, Cerner Cardiovascular Imaging Management and Cerner ECG Management, is preferred. Experience with PACS or Enterprise Imaging systems is also highly desirable. Comprehensive working knowledge of Radiology / Cardiology information systems such as, Cerner RadNet, Cerner ECG Management, Cerner Cardiovascular Imaging Management applications and systems in a centralized environment. Knowledge of clinical workflows from a technologist, radiologist, or resident perspective. Knowledge of medical and imaging industry standards such as HL7 and DICOM standards.
