    Production Line Machine Operator The Production Line Machine Operator is responsible for operating the dough production line machines to manufacture food products. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Press switches and turn knobs to start machines to package products. Observe and listen to equipment to detect possible malfunctions, such as leaks or plugging, and report malfunctions or undesirable tastes to supervisors. Clean materials, supplies, or work areas, using cleaning solutions and hand tools. Transport products and ingredients to production and material handling areas. Examine, measure, and weigh dough or products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring devices such as scales. Set up, operate, or tend machines that cut or slice materials. Press buttons or pull levers to start and operate cutting and slicing machines. Adjust machine controls to alter position, alignment, speed, or pressure.
