Note: Candidates with automotive assembly backgrounds will not be considered.
This role requires experience in aerospace or high-precision mechanical/electro-mechanical manufacturing environments.
Performs a variety of manufacturing tasks including machine set-up, machining, sheet metal fabrication, extrusion, tube bending, composite lay-up, and assembly.
Responsible for assembling precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components, repairing power plants and drive trains, soldering electronic and avionics products, and installing wire harnesses.
Prepares test articles, fixtures, and data collection devices for testing purposes.
Applies organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance.
Works on articles following established drawings and requirements.
Variable shifts; ability to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift as needed.
Completion of all screening requirements is mandatory.
Dress code: Teamwear provided; no open-toed shoes.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED with 1+ years' related experience or equivalent combination.
Aircraft manufacturing experience
Strong communication skills, work ethic, and sense of urgency
Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Aircraft fabrication experience
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
