The responsibility of the Assembler is to take various molded products and trim and/or assemble them into finished goods within quality and efficiency standards. Duties and Responsibilities Pull and review work instructions prior to starting a job. Review production priorities. Ensure that all necessary information and tools required for each job are in place before work begins. Retrieves product for trimming or assembly and moves to designated areas when complete. Finishes molded product using various methods designated for the job. These methods include, but not limited to: Use of hand and power tools. Use of pallet jack. Use of hot iron. Use of open flame. Completes product labels and ensures product is identified throughout each operation. Responsible for final inspection of product and ensures that product is of excellent quality before shipping to the Customer. Use of Reporting system to record production. The responsibility of the Assembler is to take various molded products and trim and/or assemble them into finished goods within quality and efficiency standards. Duties and Responsibilities Pull and review work instructions prior to starting a job. Review production priorities. Ensure that all necessary information and tools required for each job are in place before work begins. Retrieves product for trimming or assembly and moves to designated areas when complete. Finishes molded product using various methods designated for the job. These methods include, but not limited to: Use of hand and power tools. Use of pallet jack. Use of hot iron. Use of open flame. Completes product labels and ensures product is identified throughout each operation. Responsible for final inspection of product and ensures that product is of excellent quality before shipping to the Customer. Use of Reporting system to record production. Flexible Assembler III Grade 3 The Flexible Assembler III located in our Global Headquarters reports to our Plant Supervisor and is responsible for accurately and expediently assembling and testing sub assembly level products and / or finished products. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Perform assembly, calibration, and test operations in the manufacture of subassemblies and finished product from verbal or written instruction including BOMs, routings, work instructions, assembly drawings and samples. Assembly work involving soldering of electronic components or interconnections between electronic assemblies is specifically not included. * Determine material, tool, and equipment requirements from manufacturing orders, assembly drawings and/or work instructions. * Perform assigned duties in a safe and expeditious manner in accordance with established labor standards, quality standards, and yields. * Troubleshoot routine production problems involving component part/assembly quality and tool/equipment failures. * Communicate production problems, within the scope of their assignments that would affect either the timely delivery or the expected quality of their work, to the Production Supervisor (or assigned leader). * May use a variety of power and hand tools such as screwdrivers, torque wrenches, epoxy dispensers, riveters, hammers, etc. Soldering & desoldering equipment is specifically not included. * Use simple electrical or mechanical test devices to assure proper operation of parts or assemblies. * Accurately reports time & attendance, labor allocation and production information. * Maintain an effective dialogue with all employees to foster good employee morale. Job Summary: Liberty Tire Recycling has an immediate opening for a General Laborer/Production Worker. This is a manual labor position. Working in the Plant assisting with machine operation, granulation, and cleanup. Forklift experience is a plus but not mandatory. Duties and Responsibilities: Must be able to lift and load tires of all sizes: personal vehicle, truck and tractor tires. Show up on time. Daily contact requires courtesy, discretion and sound judgment. Assisting with machine operation May assist in performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or repairs to dispatch, clean equipment. Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety standards. Other duties will be assigned as necessary by the company, such as truck cleaning and customer service visits to stores, to ensure they have enough work in the slow season. Skills and Abilities: Lift up to and including 50 pounds(50+ with assistance) on a routine basis. Be physically capable of loading upwards of 1,220 tires per day. Must be physically capable of climbing in a trailer unassisted in a safe manner to reduce injury. Learn to lace tires in a safe manner to prevent injury and maintain a secure load during transport. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors and the public. Ability to work independently with general instructions. Ability to perform heavy manual tasks under varying weather conditions. Ability to make independent judgments which have a moderate impact on the company. Education and Experience: Prior experience in the tire recycling or manufacturing industry is a plus. Compensation: $17.50 an hour. Paid bi-weekly.
