The Cart Barn/Range Attendant is responsible for providing bag, cart, and range services to members and guests. As the "front line" of the golf experience at Serrano Country Club, this position requires a commitment to exceptional customer service and professionalism at all times.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Bring golf carts from the cart barn to the staging area outside the Golf Pro Shop
Inspect golf carts for safety concerns such as tire pressure and brake operation
Load member and guest bags onto golf carts from bag storage
Maintain and transport range balls to designated areas and ensure proper distribution
Operate tractor and ball picker to retrieve range balls
Wash all range balls daily to maintain quality
Remove bags from golf carts and return them to designated storage areas
Clean golf clubs for members and guests
Ensure golf carts are properly maintained, cleaned, parked, and charged after use
Report any lost clubs to the Pro Shop for lost and found processing
Maintain cleanliness and order of the Bag Storage Room
Assist members and guests with bag pick-ups and drop-offs
Set up and break down driving range, practice chipping green, practice putting green within club guidelines and expectations.
Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required
Follow all departmental guidelines, task checklists, and task assignments
Adhere to daily operational procedures and safety protocols
Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Golf Professionals and Head Golf Professional.
