Job Summary: The Maintenance Attendant supports the maintenance operations of the hotel, ensuring all facilities and equipment are functioning properly. This role assists with preventative maintenance tasks, repairs, and general upkeep, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
Essential Functions and Duties:
Provide professional and courteous service at all times.
Assist with maintenance and preventative maintenance tasks, including refrigeration, heating, plumbing, A/C units, and hotel equipment.
Monitor electric, gas, and water consumption and report issues as needed.
Ensure all maintenance projects are completed on time and according to specifications.
Practice safety procedures, including lockout-tagout, in accordance with OSHA standards.
Perform preventative maintenance in guest rooms and public areas as scheduled.
Conduct maintenance checks of equipment and properly log findings.
Report all safety and security concerns to the Chief Engineer or Manager on Duty immediately.
Maintain key inventory and ensure security procedures are followed.
Respond to emergency situations and assist as needed.
Participate in ongoing maintenance programs for event spaces, public areas, and hotel equipment.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspaces and storage areas.

Required Experience, Education, and Skills:

**What you can expect during onboarding and training**
+ Flight attendant trainees must successfully complete an evacuation drill in the water (pool) during training.
+ Must be willing to complete pre-employment DOT drug screen, comprehensive background checks, fingerprinting, and vision/hearing tests.
+ Must be able to pass DOT/FAA pre-employment and randomized drug screens. Medical and recreational marijuana is prohibited due to the safety-sensitive nature of the Flight Attendant position.
+ Must be able to pass a 10-year background check, including criminal background history. Your background must not prohibit travel to or from anywhere United flies. For example, Canada has a strict inadmissible classification for DWI/DUI charges including misdemeanors. If you have been on probation or convicted of a DWI/DUI within the last 10 years, the Canadian government will not allow you to travel to and from Canada unless you have already received a Temporary Resident Permit (TRP) from the Canadian government which will allow you to continue your work duties for a temporary period of time.
+ Must, with or without reasonable accommodation, meet hearing and vision requirements as established by the Federal Aviation Administration and United Airlines, including not having hearing loss on audiometry in better ear greater than 40 dB when losses at 500, 1000, and 2000 Hz are averaged; and, each eye must be 20/40 or better corrected for both far and near vision.

JOB OVERVIEW - HOUSEKEEPER/ROOM ATTENDANT
Some of our guests love being on the road but many travelers miss the comforts of home. The goal of our Housekeeping team is to make our hotel feel like just that, a home! As a Housekeeper, your contribution helps ensure our guests have a comfortable, productive and memorable stay.
A TYPICAL DAY:
Wipe all surfaces, dust and vacuum each guest room adhering to our brand standards.
Change linens, make beds and restock all guest room supplies.
Clean bathrooms, remove trash and carry out green practices as trained by the hotel.
Greet and assist guests that you encounter during your shift with a friendly smile.
Clean multiple rooms each day.
Support our maintenance team by reporting any broken, defective or missing items.
Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
REQUIREMENTS:
Previous cleaning, janitorial or customer service experience is a plus, but not required. To be successful in this role, you need basic verbal and written communication skills. This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and moving up to 25 pounds. You must also be able to stand and walk for an entire shift and perform repetitive motions. Applicants must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Oversee the breakfast service for our guests and ensure a quality dining experience which includes excellence in guest satisfaction with the highest food quality standards and service. Prepare food and beverage for the breakfast function. Maintain clean and sanitary kitchen and dining areas.

Be dependable and prompt, arriving on time and ready to work in a clean uniform and a nametag.
Prepare breakfast food and beverage items and set out all hot and cold food items following all food safety regulations.
Replenish all food and beverage items during the meal period. Keep all items fully stocked even up until the last minute we are open. Ensure all foods are kept at safe temperatures.
Keep all tables bussed and cleaned throughout the entire time breakfast and happy hour are open. Ensure all tables are properly cleaned, and dining area is vacuumed.
Receive and unpack the items as they arrive from food vendors. Date all items as they arrive and pack them according to safety standards practicing FIFO (First in first out).
Greet each guest as they arrive for breakfast. Assist with service if required and replenish coffee as time permits.
Build rapport with all guests at all times, solving problems when able and reporting any complaints or issues immediately to management for resolution.
Learn about the hotel's guests through conversations - to be measured by a minimum standard of learning three pieces of information about at least 10 of the hotel's guests per day.
Pass on any sales leads on a daily basis that are obtained during discussions with guests to management.
