Responsibilities
Install, assemble, and repair AV systems in accordance with documentation, industry standards, and best practices.
Install, terminate, and test low-voltage cabling, ensuring compliance with specifications.
Route cabling through conduits and ceilings as outlined in project documentation.
Maintain updated as built documentation of system installations.
Read and interpret project drawings, schematics, engineering notes, and operation manuals.
Experienced installing AV systems and equipment including flat panel displays, control systems, and signal routing or processing devices.
Skilled in the installation of heavy or large displays and complex video wall solutions.

Required Experience/Qualifications

Preferred Experience/Qualifications
Minimum of 2 to 5 years installing audiovisual equipment including video panels, speakers, racking, microphones, A/V cabling and wiring.
Currently working towards an IT Certification such as Security+, CISSP, etc.
Possess or in-process of obtaining A/V industry related certifications such as AVIXA CTS-I, CTS-D, ANP, Crestron, Extron or Biamp certifications.
Experience with configuration and programming of AV control systems and audiovisual equipment.
Special Requirements/Security Clearance
Possess a minimum of SECRET clearance.
Physical Demands

Job Responsibilities:
Monitor and respond to hardware and software issues within the technical control facility.
Install, terminate, label, and test network and AV cabling, including fiber optic, Cat5e, and Cat6A cables.
Assist with, installation of terminals, audiovisual equipment, and associated hardware.
Conduct physical layer troubleshooting for connectivity issues and signal degradation.
Maintain cable management practices to ensure neat, organized, and secure cable runs.
Document cabling infrastructure changes, updates, and network maps.
Use tools for signal testing, certification, and fault detection.
Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams to ensure optimal network and AV performance.
Support server/network hardware installation as needed.
Ensure compliance with BICSI, DoD, and ARL standards for physical layer infrastructure and security.

Qualifications
Must be a US Citizen.
Must have an active DoD Security Clearance.
Must have a BA/BS Degree or an AA in computer science or information technology with two (2+) additional years of experience.
IAT Level II Certification equivalent or higher per DoD 8570/DoD 8140 (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, etc.).
Ability to plan and implement large-scale network configurations and upgrades while minimizing downtime.
Familiarity with copper and fiber cabling standards, color codes, and cable testing procedures.
Experience supporting audiovisual systems (projectors, video conferencing, display setups).
Ability to interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and floor plans.

Salary Range: $54,000 - $91,000

Primary Function
Manage strategic technology recommendations and oversee the audiovisual integration support operation, including participation in all aspects of the integration projects from the design phase through to testing and client training. Manage operational aspects of integration projects and scope
