Summary/Objective The Energy Audit Specialist is responsible for developing relationships with customers and assisting them in identifying energy-saving opportunities. This role provides compressed air audits and leak audits at customer sites, analyzing system efficiency and recommending upgrades. The Specialist interacts closely with customers and Account Managers to deliver excellent service and ensure compliance with energy-saving programs. Essential functions Interact with customer contacts at their site to perform audits and build relationships. Identify compressed air equipment, inventory and document model, serial number, horsepower, etc. Deploy compressed air system data loggers, note installation locations, and assist with installation. Conduct leak audits at customer facilities to detect, identify, and document compressed air leaks. Document and prepare reports for state agencies and/or utility companies to ensure compliance with energy-saving programs. Prepare evaluation reports, analyze data, and make recommendations for procedures and processes that improve productivity. Present audit results to customers onsite or via virtual meetings. Schedule data logging activities with Account Managers and customers. Interface with energy utilities to confirm customer eligibility for rebates and incentive programs. Stay current on utility rebate offerings and communicate updates to staff and customers. Perform billing procedures for the Air Audit Department. Create block diagrams of compressed air components, valving, and system flow for proposed systems. Ensure all audits and site visits follow OSHA and company safety standards. Provide training to customers and internal staff on audit findings, energy-saving opportunities, and system best practices. Recommend improvements to audit methodologies, tools, and reporting processes. Collaborate with Engineering, Service, and Sales teams to support system design recommendations and project execution. Use software tools to analyze audit results and model projected energy savings. Deliver presentations and educational sessions to customers on compressed air efficiency and sustainability. Maintain accurate records of audits, communications, and rebate submissions in CRM or internal systems. Identify performance issues in customer systems and collaborate with service technicians on solutions. Other duties as assigned. Supervisory responsibilities None Travel required Yes, you must have the ability to travel regionally, sometimes with short notice and occasional overnight stays. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree preferred. Strong computer/software aptitude in Microsoft Windows.
