About the Role: * Setting up & machining on various machines; CNC Lathes, CNC Mills, CNC Horizontal borers, Manual machining, * In-situ machining various types including line boring, CNC milling, manual milling, drilling tapping, flange facing and radial milling * Carry out manufacture of products to drawing specifications, samples & instructions. * Maintain measuring and inspection equipment in good order while also having a high level of housekeeping within the machining areas. * Ensure machines are running productively, monitoring set up and down times to produce parts as efficiently as possible. * Liaise with Programmer or Workshop Manager to review machining process and tooling. * Completion of dimensional inspection reports and associated paper work. * Assist in other areas as directed by the Workshop Manager. Multiple roles available: tasks may vairy depending on individual applicants' skill set and interests. What We're Looking For: * Proven experience as a Manual Machinist or CNC Machinist in either milling or turning and would be beneficial to have a strong interest in transitioning to on-site machining. * ARC or MIG welding experience preferred but not essential * Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings. * Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. * Willingness to travel and work in a variety of environments. * A commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of work. * Relevant certifications or trade qualifications in metal machining, first class machinist, fitter machinist or equivalent.
