Alongside production, the site includes a raw apple operation that is key for the success of the site. This facility is a Unionized location. Production Technician III - Williamson, NY The Production Technician is responsible for the complete operation and changeover of assigned machines within PhD and all other associated work. This includes safely maintaining, repairing, replacing and assisting in modifying all processing, packaging, and facility equipment in accordance with on-line quality and Best Practice procedures. Accountable for ensuring that the project team is versed in planning, productivity, efficiency, crew size, quality workmanship, and safety protocols to ensure projects are constructed expeditiously and profitably. Confirms that all site employees, including trade contractors and subcontractors are adhering to all company expected work performance quality. Effectively build external talent and collaborate with team on staff retention through career progression plans and identifying opportunities for training to advance internally, ensuring maintaining regular employee performance discussions on an as needed and ongoing basis. Leads initiatives of all project schedules with project management team to ensure scheduled plans are being executed while reviewing future week(s) schedule. Facilitate discussions on current progress and communicate outstanding items that enforce delivery of schedule requirements. Promotes “Together, We Build On Trust” with on-site leadership project team members through techniques that motivate producing productivity goals and adherence to responsibilities and expectations. Implement excellent communication strategies with regional labor union leaders, clients, and subcontractors, vendors to maintain excellent relationships that build trusted partnerships and future relationships.
