Palantir's Site Reliability Network Operations Center members (SRN) are the first line of defense on alerting and monitoring across a wide network of Palantir products and installations. Our SRNs are entry-level systems administrators with a strong work ethic and drive to scale their own abilities across their domain. We value candidates who are detail-oriented while also being able to think and react quickly to emerging and unique problem sets. To be successful in this role you'll be someone who is able to rapidly adapt and learn how to operate the front and back end of new products and processes. Support Government IV&V, JITC coordination, and Operational Test (OT) activities as required. Assist with documenting discrepancies, defects, risk areas, and mitigation steps. Lab, Cloud & Field-Testing Support Conduct testing in sensing lab environments, virtual/cloud environments, and operationally representative platforms. Support installation, configuration, and testing of hardware, VMs, sensing software, data brokers, and network components. Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot, replicate, and resolve issues discovered during testing. Provide test support during deployment pilots, sustainment updates, and field validation testing. Collaboration & Reporting Work closely with systems engineers, software developers, cybersecurity personnel, and PMO staff to ensure accurate test coverage. Provide real-time issue tracking, severity assessments, and status reporting to Government stakeholders. Support preparation of test briefs, test-readiness presentations, and Lessons Learned documentation. Minimum Requirements Active DoD Secret clearance required. Three (3)+ years of experience in software, systems, or cybersecurity testing. Experience testing cybersecurity tools, network sensors, or enterprise monitoring platforms. Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, ports/protocols, packet flows, firewalls, routing). Experience with automated testing, scripting, or regression testing frameworks. Hands-on experience with tools such as ACAS, Nessus, Wireshark, Zeek, Splunk, or similar platforms. Familiarity with DoD systems, cyber defense operations, or RMF-related validation requirements. Knowledge of DevSecOps concepts, CI/CD pipelines, and automated test integration (preferred). Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to document complex test scenarios and results. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work in a collaborative engineering Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity policies including DoDD 8500.1 and DoDI 8510.01. DoD 8570 IAT II or IAM I certification required (Security+, CySA+, CISM, CASP, CISSP or equivalent). Strong understanding of vulnerability management principles and security control implementation. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast paced, mission focused environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience supporting cross functional team. Proven ability to lead technical efforts and communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Desired Experience/Certifications Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience). Experience supporting DISA, DoD cyber programs, or large scale operational sensor platforms is highly desired.
