The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for extending psychiatric services by providing psychiatric evaluation, medication treatment, and primary care to patients while providing exceptional customer service to make sure the highest quality work standards are achieved and maintained according to practice policies and procedures. Summary of Essential Job Functions The key responsibilities of the Nurse Practitioner include: Core Duties and Responsibilities o Ensure the timely completion of admission physicals, annual physicals, medical histories, laboratory testing consistent with state and federal regulations, accreditation standards and sound nursing practice. o Diagnose, prescribe, and monitor OUD clients utilizing the ASAM DSM V diagnosis criteria and appropriate level of care along with the appropriate referral for individualized care.
