SUMMARY OF DUTIES

Requirements:

SUMMARY OF DUTIES
Under the supervision of the Clinical Supervisor, the EAP Counselor IV is responsible for providing short-term counseling to employees and household members of contracted EAP companies in person and via telehealth. Counseling services includes assessment; formulation of action plan/goals; short-term, solution-focused counseling; referrals; case management; resources and follow-up. Direct communication with employer representatives is also required. May also provide direct service to EAP contracted companies, which includes workplace training, orientation sessions, open enrollment events, benefits fairs and management consultation.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
Masters' Degree from a school accredited by a recognized accrediting agency. Requires knowledge of an advanced type.
Other (Specify): Professional License (LCSW, MFT, MHC, PH.D. or equivalent) required or obtainable within a year. May be required to obtain CISM and SAP certification and become FEI approved, if eligible.
EXPERIENCE
Over two years, up to and including four years.
Other (Specify): Knowledge of EAP and organization and management development. Experience as a direct service provider.
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
