The primary function of the Board-Certified BehaviorAnalyst (BCBA) is to plan, develop, and monitor a variety of behavioral support service delivery options to meet the needs of clients diagnosed with behavioral and social/communication challenges.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Essential duties include the following but are not considered an inclusive list.
Exhibits knowledge of developments/trends in developmental disabilities and aging.

Assures compliance with State/Federal law, and CARF accreditation.
Responsible for interviewing/hiring/training RBT's; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding/disciplining employees; addressing complaints/resolving problems.
Prepares timely reports/records for quality management review with CARF and Executive Management meetings.
Assists in community involvement for Public Relations.
Administers, conducts, evaluates, and supervises the implementation of behavioral assessment measures (e.g., VB-MAPP, ABLLS) and functional assessment measures.
Developing individualized goals and objectives for home-, community-, and center-based programs and designs behavior support plans based on functional assessment data.
Ensures appropriate behavioral data systems are implemented such that quantifiable behavioral data is collected at regular intervals to allow for the continual evaluation of behavior plans and the achievement of individual goals and objectives.
Conducts regular parent/caregiver and teacher training and consultation.
Develop materials, training and provide resources for and provide professional learning to parents/guardians in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and and/or other evidence-based methodologies related to addressing the needs of students with behavior difficulties.
Train behavior technicians on ABA program and individualized plans of care.
Conducts and oversees the initial RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) training.
Directly observe treatments administered by behavior technicians.
Facilitate natural environment interventions when appropriate.
Review technician's documentation and data collection and provide feedback as needed.
Communicate through checking voicemail and email regularly.
Is responsible for ongoing individual program oversight and conducting weekly supervision meetings with Program Coordinators and Behavior Technicians.
Complete all necessary documentation in a timely and satisfactory manner according to written procedures and regulatory/payer guidelines.
Develops written reports documenting behavioral recommendations for parents, caregivers and agency personnel in a timely and accurate manner.
Responds to referrals for service in a timely and appropriate manner.
Participates in professional meetings or conferences.
Adheres to the mission, vision and values of FCC.

BCBA will oversee programming implemented by Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and provide ongoing support to other program staff as it relates to the implementation and documentation associated with Behavior Support Plans, Individualized Treatment Plans, and services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Oversee the development and implementation of behavioral plans and strategies as individuals are identified within each program with Program Director.
Assist in the development, facilitation, and follow-up training in Applied Behavior Analysis, using both discrete trial training and natural environment training models of teaching.
Facilitate and assist in the development and identification of resources and support information for individuals and their families.
Provide model teaching and other direct instructional supports including, but not limited to, practicum supervision/teaching, class instruction and in-service instruction to other support professionals.
Assist in the development and implementation of assessment tools, to conduct functional assessments and analyses when appropriate, and to develop appropriate behavior strategies to teach appropriate behavior and reduce maladaptive behaviors.
Provide ongoing support and training to educators, therapists, direct support professionals, ABA implementers, and other individuals in support roles for families.
Ongoing training and supervision of paraprofessional staff in implementation of ABA principles and methodology and behavior reduction strategies.
Create ongoing data collection system to establish baseline and programmatic efficacy for individuals receiving ABA, and to analyze data on a frequent and ongoing basis to guide programming.
As part of Individual Treatment Plan develop behavior plans/treatment plans for individuals with a focus on teaching and other antecedent strategies for reducing problematic behavior(s).
Meet as needed with supervised staff to discuss ongoing issues and to provide support when necessary.
Utilize defined platform to enter session notes within 72 hours of each session.
Provide consultation services and maintain ongoing communication with all constituents (other supports, parents, community, and community agencies).
Keep current with the literature, new research findings and resources. In addition to continuing education courses to maintain BCBA certification.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Facilitate and assist in the development and identification of resources and support information for individuals and their families.
Provide model teaching and other direct instructional supports including, but not limited to, practicum supervision/teaching, class instruction and in-service instruction to other support professionals.
Assist in the development and implementation of assessment tools, to conduct functional assessments and analyses when appropriate, and to develop appropriate behavior strategies to teach appropriate behavior and reduce maladaptive behaviors.
Provide ongoing support and training to educators, therapists, direct support professionals, ABA implementers, and other individuals in support roles for families.
Ongoing training and supervision of paraprofessional staff in implementation of ABA principles and methodology and behavior reduction strategies.
Create ongoing data collection system to establish baseline and programmatic efficacy for individuals receiving ABA, and to analyze data on a frequent and ongoing basis to guide programming.
As part of Individual Treatment Plan develop behavior plans/treatment plans for individuals with a focus on teaching and other antecedent strategies for reducing problematic behavior(s).
Meet as needed with supervised staff to discuss ongoing issues and to provide support when necessary.
Utilize defined platform to enter session notes within 72 hours of each session.
Provide consultation services and maintain ongoing communication with all constituents (other supports, parents, community, and community agencies).
Keep current with the literature, new research findings and resources. In addition to continuing education courses to maintain BCBA certification.
Perform other duties as assigned.
