Responsibilities
The Behavior Technician is responsible for delivering one-on-one ABA therapy services to children with autism. Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, the Behavior Technician will encourage, support, and challenge these children to reach new milestones by teaching new skill acquisition and behavior modification.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Works 1:1 with a child in performing ABA therapy, following the guidance in the behavior treatment plan and under the direction of a supervising clinician.
Ensures all billing is submitted in a timely fashion and the documentation accurately supports the services rendered.
Updates working availability in the EMR platform and communicates availability changes with their Client Advocate.
Communicates regularly with Client Advocate and Supervisor as it relates to assigned client(s).
Complies with and follows the BACB code of ethics as it relates to service delivery and professionalism.
Performs other related duties as required.
Qualifications
18 years old with a HS Diploma or GED.
Passion for working with children, especially those with neuro-divergent behaviors.
Minimum 1 year working with children.
Reliable transportation.
Completion of 40 hour Registered Behavior Technician training. If training has not been previously completed, training will be provided by Powerback Pediatrics.
Willingness to obtain RBT certification through BACB.

In this role you will:
Provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients in a center-based or home-based setting (paid training provided)
Teach clients with autism communication, social, and self-help skills in an individual or small group setting

Adhere to all policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, confidentiality and mandated reporting standards as set by the BlueSprig clinical team

Pay
$19 to $22 per hour (based on experience) for billable hours as an RBT.
Once you have completed training, but prior to completing RBT Certification, you will receive 12 for each billable client hour worked. For all BT training and administrative time, you will receive 12 for each non-billable hour worked.

What you will do:
The RBT is a paraprofessional responsible for the direct implementation of behavior analytic services under the close supervision of the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The RBT only follows intervention or assessment plans created by the supervising BCBA. The supervising BCBA determines and assigns tasks for the RBT to perform as a function of his/her training, experience, and competency levels.
Work directly under the supervision of the BCBA
Participate in the implementation of the Individualized Treatment Plan (ITP), created by the BCBA to ensure optimal outcomes for patients.
Participate in implementation of daily data collection.
Participate in entering data collected and updating graphs, along with reporting data to supervising BCBA.
Assist in observational assessments with the BCBA, such as the ABC (antecedent, behavior, consequence) data collection.
Prepare and implement all materials for all sessions as directed by the skill acquisition program.
Implement appropriate teaching procedures and interventions based on behavior modification determined by the supervising BCBA.
Store all notes, data collection, graphs, and other documentation in designated software system in compliance with HIPPA.
Maintain visual supervision of the child at all NEVER leaves a child unattended.
Speak in a well-modulated, pleasant, and caring voice to children, parents, and staff.
Represent the program to parents, visitors, and the public in a positive way.
Maintain a clean, safe, healthy, and sanitary learning environment by ensuring that children are kept clean and toys and other materials get disinfected each day.

Provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients in a center-based or home-based setting (paid training provided)
Teach clients with autism communication, social, and self-help skills in an individual or small group setting

$19 to $22 per hour (based on experience) for billable hours as an RBT.
Once you have completed training, but prior to completing RBT Certification, you will receive 12 for each billable client hour worked. For all BT training and administrative time, you will receive 12 for each non-billable hour worked.

The BT is a paraprofessional responsible for the direct implementation of behavior analytic services under the close supervision of the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The BT only follows intervention or assessment plans created by the supervising BCBA. In this role you will:
Provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients in a center-based or home-based setting (paid training provided)
Teach clients with autism communication, social, and self-help skills in an individual or small group setting
Collect data to monitor the progress of the children we support
Provide regular written and verbal progress on treatment goals
Adhere to all policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, confidentiality and mandated reporting standards as set by the BlueSprig clinical team
Maintain appropriate social distancing, safety, and enhanced protective hygiene practices both on and off the job. (We provide PPE, caregiver communication tools and practices, and limit exposure through small work groups.)
Communicate clearly and effectively - both orally and written - with clients, families, and colleagues
Attend meetings, trainings, and workshops to acquire further knowledge.

All day availability Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM
Pay
$19 to $22 per hour (based on experience) for billable hours as an RBT.
Once you have completed training, but prior to completing RBT Certification, you will receive 12 for each billable client hour worked. For all BT training and administrative time, you will receive 12 for each non-billable hour worked.

How will you make an impact?
Design and oversee individualized programs for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders, ages 2-10, in natural settings.
Coordinate sessions to overlap with members of the direct care team to observe sessions and provide coaching and clinical support across settings.
Review data and reports submitted by team and update individualized programs to ensure reflects childs development and progress towards identified goals.
Partner with the Treatment Director in conducting initial assessments.
Produce progress reports and treatment plans, meeting requirements and submission timelines of regulatory agencies and funding sources.
Plan and lead regular treatment updates with behavior technicians.
Provide consistent formal and informal feedback to RBTs to ensure a high degree of treatment integrity.
Provide parent training to facilitate the generalization of skills and maintenance during non-therapeutic opportunities.
Collaborate with all other disciplines, clients families, teachers, supervisors.
Qualification Requirements:
Masters degree in psychology, behavior analysis, education or special education, or related field.
BCBA Credential/Certificate.
2-5 years of experience working with individuals with special needs (preferred).
Experience as a BCBA in a home or clinic-based setting (preferred).

What you will do:
The RBT is a paraprofessional responsible for the direct implementation of behavior analytic services under the close supervision of the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The RBT only follows intervention or assessment plans created by the supervising BCBA. The supervising BCBA determines and assigns tasks for the RBT to perform as a function of his/her training, experience, and competency levels.
Work directly under the supervision of the BCBA
Participate in the implementation of the Individualized Treatment Plan (ITP), created by the BCBA to ensure optimal outcomes for patients.
Participate in implementation of daily data collection.
Participate in entering data collected and updating graphs, along with reporting data to supervising BCBA.
Assist in observational assessments with the BCBA, such as the ABC (antecedent, behavior, consequence) data collection.
Prepare and implement all materials for all sessions as directed by the skill acquisition program.
Implement appropriate teaching procedures and interventions based on behavior modification determined by the supervising BCBA.
Store all notes, data collection, graphs, and other documentation in designated software system in compliance with HIPPA.
Maintain visual supervision of the child at all NEVER leaves a child unattended.
Speak in a well-modulated, pleasant, and caring voice to children, parents, and staff.
Represent the program to parents, visitors, and the public in a positive way.
Maintain a clean, safe, healthy, and sanitary learning environment by ensuring that children are kept clean and toys and other materials get disinfected each day.
Display concern for the rights of children and families served by the clinic.
Ensure confidentiality of children and employee Responds to internal and external requests for information according to clinic policy.
Participate in one-on-one meetings with leader.
Comply with BACB's ethics requirements.

Receive ongoing supervision and comply with BACB's ethics requirements.
Physical Demands:
