Social Worker - Adult Partial Hospital Program
As a Social Worker in the Adult Partial Hospital Program, you will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to provide individual, family and group psychotherapy and discharge planning to adult patients with various psychiatric diagnoses. The Partial Hospital Program is a rapid-paced, brief, intensive treatment program.
The Adult Partial Hospital Program (PHP) provides comprehensive evaluation and intensive, short-term treatment to adults 18 years of age and older with acute psychiatric illnesses including psychosis, eating disorders, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and personality disorders. The program functions to avert or shorten inpatient hospitalizations, providing a structured, supportive environment for those who can live in the community and can be treated outside of the inpatient setting.

Preferred Criteria

Advocate & Support. What we're looking for

Responsibilities

Provide regular parent/caretaker training
Maintain knowledge of different programs and certifications through CEU events.

Provide initial corrective feedback to RBTs, when needed, as part of progressive disciplinary action procedures.

Job Brief: Behavior technicians are responsible for assisting in maintaining safety within the school environment by responding to behavior events and working collaboratively with school personnel. Under the direction of Administrators and Behavior Analysts, technicians work to maintain trusting and positive relationships with students; offering support and positive programming. They maintain necessary documentation of behavior events and required data consistent with state reporting. The technician attends team meetings as designed for the assigned program. Behavior technicians may provide transportation support through available posted positions. At times, a technician may drive students for afterschool activities and trips and may be called upon to provide morning and afternoon transportation support for the program. The Behavior technician acts as a resource within the building to assist staff in understanding and improving behaviors. In addition, behavior technicians support teaching staff and students in the acquisition and mastery of the educational curriculum
Duties and Responsibilities:

Qualifications

Arc Light Behavioral Health Collective (******************** is a small BCBA-owned company seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide in-home Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients in East Haven, CT. This role involves working one-on-one with children and adolescents diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans, and supporting skill development under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Essential Functions
Implement individualized ABA treatment plans for children and adolescents in a home setting under the guidance of a BCBA
Support behavior management strategies, ensuring consistency and adherence to treatment plans
Supervise community outings and run objectives in real- world settings
Assist in creating client materials to support intervention goals
Provide parent training and collaborate with families to reinforce learning and progress
Maintain accurate data collection and timely documentation of clinical services
Work with clients who have a history of aggression and elopement (though rarely engage in it) and demonstrate confidence in managing challenging behaviors
Maintain a reliable and consistent schedule with families to ensure effective therapy implementation
Follow BACB ethical guidelines and company policies
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
Active RBT certification (preferred)
Minimum one year of experience working with children or adolescents with developmental disabilities, behavioral challenges, or related fields
Strong time management skills and ability to manage a caseload efficiently
