Minimum Qualifications
Certification: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing
Licensure: Licensed Behavioral Analyst in NC
Experience:
1+ years working with children with developmental disabilities and/or autism (preferred)

Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field preferred
A minimum of 1 year of experience in working with children, adolescents, or adults with special needs is preferred
Must have the desire to work with young children with behavioral challenges
Must have good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Must have a desire for continued learning opportunities and a willingness to embrace instruction and feedback
Must be able to successfully complete a criminal history background check
Must have reliable transportation and, in some cases, proof of driver's license and valid car insurance

Responsibilities
* Create an environment that fosters skill acquisition, functional communication, and school readiness for children
* Learn directly from Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) to provide therapy that transforms lives
* Review behavior plans and instructional materials to ensure consistent implementation and monitor outcomes
* Complete daily progress notes related to the implementation of the intervention plan
* Work with children by creating an environment that champions continued skill acquisition and development of functional communication, peer interactions, and school readiness, just to name a few

Travel Expectations
This role includes a variable regional travel requirement, estimated at 20%-50% per month depending on program needs. While telehealth services are also provided, you will primarily travel to support EMPOWER sites:

All work-related travel is reimbursed via mileage pay, and, depending on cost-effectiveness, a travel vehicle may be provided. You'll have flexibility to plan travel around program needs while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
What You'll Do
Lead behavior support programs fostering family engagement & measurable growth.
Conduct functional behavior assessments & develop Positive Behavior Support Plans.
Train and mentor staff, DSPs, and supervisors in ABA best practices.
Collaborate across service lines (EMPOWER, ICS, ABA) to maximize outcomes.
Deliver in-service training & represent ESPH at professional conferences.

Minimum Qualifications
Certification: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing
Licensure: Licensed Behavioral Analyst in NC
Experience:
1+ years working with children with developmental disabilities and/or autism (preferred)
1+ years in a supervisory or leadership capacity (preferred)
Strong written/verbal communication, organization, and time management skills
Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and unrestricted driving privileges
Proficiency in Microsoft Office & EMR systems
Ability to work effectively with participants, families, and teams in homes, schools, and community settings
