How You Will Nurture Your Patients and Teammates
Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and implement individualized treatment plans for all patients on your caseload.
Supervise, provide feedback and ensure adherence to Bloomwell's clinical quality standards for RBTs and any other support staff involved with patients at clinic.
Monitor and analyze patient data to adjust treatment plans and optimize patient progress.
Partner with caregivers to increase engagement and ensure they understand and implement ABA strategies at home.

The Behavior Technician (BT) position is at the heart of any Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program. Each child's treatment plan is carried out by the BT on a daily basis. Consistency within the treatment plan is critical, as is time management. The Behavior Technician is responsible for upholding the highest quality of care. A desire to work with children is essential. The ideal candidate would be patient and open-minded, with a strong work ethic.
The Behavior Technician will provide one-on-one individual treatment for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder ages 2 to 21 using Applied Behavior Analysis. They will implement learning programs (communication, self-help, play skills) under the direct supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
Behavior Technician Responsibilities
Duties include, but are not limited to:
-Focus on changing the child's behavior by observing and measuring the behavior in real- life environments.
· Gather behavioral data to track progress in reaching behavioral objectives identified in the behavior plan
· Implement learning programs (communication, self-help, and play skills) as written and instructed by the BCBA
· Collect data on all behaviors targeted and meet with supervisor weekly to analyze the information gathered and participate in initial and ongoing trainings
· Assist with parent training so family members/caregivers can teach and support skills during typical family activities
· Document each service activity in Central Reach
· Complete mandatory training and refresher training
· Supervise children and ensure that all safety protocols are followed.

Main Job Duties:
Using person-centered principles, actively engage clients in their mental health recovery, and develop and maintain appropriate relationships that support the client in meeting their individual goals.
Facilitate and conduct individual services that address a variety of needs and health concerns for the client. May facilitate and conduct group interventions, if applicable.
Provide collateral information for nursing assessments and conduct interviews and gather information to inform treatment planning, plan-of-care reviews and discharge plans as needed or directed.
Document interactions and interventions with clients, according to program requirements, into the organization's Electronic Health Record (EHR) and/or record-keeping system.
Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation for clients experiencing mental health symptoms or other emotional and/or behavioral responses while prioritizing client and program safety.
Participate in coordination of services through the recognition of the multiple needs of the client, with other providers in the community, in an effort to provide necessary resources to the client.
Provide various skill-building, teaching and/or coaching, as it relates to the individual's goal and/or treatment plan.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Travel required- Current non restricted driver's license along with access to a vehicle is required
High school diploma
10,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of services to people with serious and persistent mental illness
OR
Bachelor's degree in a behavioral science
4,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of services to people with serious and persistent mental illness
OR
Master's degree in a behavioral science
Preferred qualifications:
Experience working with individuals with co-occurring medical and/or chemical dependency and SPMI
Experience in providing culturally competent services to underserved populations
Experience working within or providing services within a criminal justice or law enforcement environment
Lived experience as a member of a diverse community

Execute basic medical tasks such as replacing bandages and dressings, taking vital signs, measuring glucose and ketone levels, and ensuring the proper use of medical devices
Administer Medications: Dispense medications as directed by the Registered Nurse (RN), maintaining an annual error rate of no more than one mistake
Resident Response: Attend to resident call lights within 10 minutes to ensure responsive and attentive care
Light Housekeeping: Perform regular light housekeeping in resident rooms at least once weekly to promote a clean and comfortable living space
Service Charting: Accurately document all services provided without missing tasks, ensuring compliance with company standards
Assistance with ADLs: Support residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) according to each individual's Client Service Plan, with a zero-tolerance policy for missed tasks
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required - some college is an asset
Compassionate, kind, and empathetic personality is essential, with superb organization and communications skills
