Ensures completeness and thoroughness of documentation as mandated by federal, state and medical standards. * Maintains an accurate schedule of all MDS assessments to include the proper reference dates throughout the resident's stay. * Responsible for the data entry function to assure accurate data entry and electronic submission of MDS assessments. * Verifies electronic submissions of MDS, performs corrections when necessary and maintains appropriate records. * Coordinates interdisciplinary participation in completing the MDS for each resident according to regulatory time frames. Ensures completeness and thoroughness of documentation as mandated by federal and state standards. * Schedules and conducts resident care conferences in compliance with state and federal regulations and ensures completion of all MDS reviews prior to resident care conference. * Assists disciplines in formulating and revising care plans. Ensures that resident's present/potential problems are identified and prioritized; realistic goals are established, and nursing intervention is appropriate. * Evaluates resident care plans for comprehensiveness and individuality. * Assesses the achievement or lack of achievement of desired outcomes. Ensures that resident's care plan is reassessed and revised appropriately. * Responsible for all level of care changes within the facility. Notifies all departments when a level of care change has been made. * Generates appropriate forms to complete level of acuity and changes. Transmits forms to the appropriate agency for processing as required by state law. * Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information including protected health information. Supervisory Requirements This position has supervision duties. Qualification Education and/or Experience Minimum requirements to perform this position include graduation from an Accredited School of Nursing with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred. Must be in good standing with the State Board of Nursing and maintain all required continuing education/licensing requirements. 3 years of supervisory experience preferred. Long Term Care Experience Preferred. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in the Microsoft Suite products. Knowledge and experience with PCC preferred. Must maintain all required continuing education/licensing. Must remain in good standing with the State Board of Nursing at all times. Essential Functions: Foster a safety conscious culture through effective communications, coaching, training, and development to ensure compliance with state, federal and company policies and procedures. Utilize manpower and materials safely and efficiently to inspect, repair and troubleshoot equipment problems. Develop a motivated team to ensure equipment/facilities are maintained in proper working order and permissible condition and maintained to high standards to achieve high availabilities and meet maintenance/production goals. Inspect work areas daily to identify unsafe conditions and implement necessary corrections. Conduct safety meetings for crews. Ensure personnel are trained in operation of equipment and maintenance task before performing work. Maintain repair logs, takes call out reports and orders parts/materials for repair and maintenance of equipment. Interface with shift foremen/section foreman regarding status of maintenance work. Accurately and timely fill out and sign federal inspection and hazard books in compliance with regulations. Other duties as assigned by management. Who You Are: Valid Alabama Mine Foreman Certificate preferred. Valid MSHA Electrical Certification Proficient in the use and maintenance of mining equipment and systems. Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. High attention to safety, detail, and quality. Maintenance testing of low to high voltage (13.8kV) electrical equipment in the underground including transformers, switchgear, protective relays, circuit breakers, cables, and motors Fabrication and installation of various low voltage electrical equipment (distribution boards, lighting, etc.) throughout the underground mine. Repair and maintenance of instrumentation throughout the mine. May be required to operate certain mine equipment to diagnose problems, position it for repairs to be made, test operation after making repairs. Troubleshoot and perform electrical repairs faults with electrical wiring and equipment, including transformers, motors, instrumentation (limit switches, flow meters, totalizers, etc.), generators, lighting systems, protective relays, switchgear and associated components, control panels and associated equipment. Maintaining personal hand tools for functionality and cleanliness. Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping in all work areas to provide a safe and healthy workplace for all employees, contractors, and vendors. Able to complete daily tasks and provide reports of updated electrical drawings (red lines). Implementing protective relay settings into existing protective relays based on settings provided.
