Qualifications

If license‑eligible, must maintain the Board's requirements to be able to practice including receiving the necessary amount of clinical supervision by a Board approved supervisor.

Responsibilities
+ Perform sterile processing duties following the lead technicians' guidelines.
+ Reprocess and assemble specialized instruments and equipment.
+ Wash, prepare, and sterilize trays and instruments using designated procedures.
+ Inspect and test the performance of specialized instruments and equipment.
+ Lubricate items according to cleaning and preparation instructions.
+ Document required information and maintain accurate records.
+ Set up case carts for surgical procedures.
+ Ensure correct inventory and restock equipment and supplies as needed.
+ Assist with the preparation of equipment, instruments, and supplies.
+ Operate and troubleshoot equipment, seeking assistance as needed.
+ Report hazardous conditions, malfunctioning equipment, accidents, or other incidents to the supervisor.
