About the Role:
We're looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and self-motivated team players with at least 2 years of customer-facing experience to:
Deliver vehicles straight to customers' doors with our custom car haulers (don't worry - a commercial license is not required to drive the hauler and you will receive ample training)
Frequently load/unload vehicles onto the hauler (this part does require getting physical!) and regularly inspect the car-hauler to make sure the vehicle maintains safe to drive
Complete customer paperwork and include thorough notes in our customer tracking system
Consistently drive safe and maintain a clean driving record in accordance with Carvana's CMV Driver Qualification policy.

Attends unit meetings, in-service training, workshops, etc. for the purpose of gathering information required to perform job functions.
Cleans assigned vehicles for the purpose of ensuring safety, appearance and sanitation of vehicle.
Conducts emergency evacuation drills for the purpose of ensuring efficiency of procedures and complying with mandated requirements.
Drives school bus/s for the purpose of transporting passengers over scheduled routes and authorized stops to and from school and/or field trips in a safe and timely manner.
Fuels assigned vehicle (e.g. oil, water, fuel, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining vehicle in a safe operating condition.

POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Transport students safely to and from school or to school-sponsored activities. Maintain safe and clean bus conditions, keep necessary records, and communicate effectively with parents, students and staff about transportation-related matters.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Drive school bus or other assigned vehicle to transport students between home and school or on school-sponsored activities. Adhere to transportation schedules so that students arrive on time to school or home. Follow all assigned traffic rules, safety procedures, and school expectations for transportation programs.
Report any incidents, accidents, or safety concerns to school administration. Complete related incident reports and comply fully with any accident investigation, insurance claim processing, safety checks, or other inquiries.
Participate in any necessary safety drills, driver training, certification procedures, or other steps required to maintain driving credentials. Submit to random drug tests as required according to U.S. Department of Transportation requirements.
Implement student procedures to ensure safety on the bus. Make necessary reports to parents and administrators when student behavior is a concern.
Communicate professionally with students and parents regarding student needs or concerns; provide timely notice to parents and administrators in the event of any deviations from transportation schedule.
Maintain a high level of cleanliness on assigned vehicle(s).
Notify the administrator of any necessary repairs or maintenance on assigned vehicle(s).
Qualifications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (positions in this class typically require):
Basic writing, reading and communications skills as acquired through a high school diploma or higher. Able to read and understand transportation instructions, traffic regulations and signs, and to make written and oral reports to supervisors.
Prior experience in driving a bus or commercial vehicle preferred.
