Qualifications HOLCOMB SCHOOL BUS DRIVER INFORMATION Requirements needed to qualify as a school bus driver: Valid NJ driver license. NJ license must be in good standing for the last 3 years. At least 21 years old or older. Must be able to pass a background check from 18 yrs. old until now. Must be able to pass a DOT drug test (Marijuana is legal in NJ, but not legal for a CDL). The school bus driver position: Starting pay is $28.00/hr. and guaranteed 20 hours a week as long as the school is open. Required to work Monday-Friday. Required to work 2 hours in the morning.
