Description: Shift: 3rd shift flexible hours 15:00-23:30 / 23:00-07:30 No weekends some OT may be optional as needed. Unit Details: We are seeking a skilled Travel Histology Technician to join our team. The primary responsibilities will include: • Routine paraffin embedding • Microtomy and sectioning for routine HE staining • Immunohistochemistry IHCs and molecular procedures • Processing information and office orders • Minimal special staining and processing duties Requirements: • Certification: ASCP-HT American Society for Clinical Pathology - Histotechnician • Experience: At least 1 year of hands-on experience in histology with specific expertise in microtomy and paraffin embedding. Additional Information: • Pre-approved time off must be submitted before confirmation of the contract. • This position requires strong attention to detail excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently within the scheduled hours. -Some OT is offered but not mandatory. -Travelers normally do microtomy or embedding. -We are currently many days behind so staying busy is not a problem. -Parking must be paid by the employee but is free on 3rd shift. -Attire: scrubs any color. Sweatshirts or jackets will be necessary as the lab stays cold we only ask to not wear any print that could be offensive most people wear OSU attire -Ear buds may be worn one at a time and minimal phone usage okay to switch podcasts songs etc but keep phone put away otherwise. -Locker and lock is provided to lock personal items break room and kitchen also provided fridge microwave toaster etc and disposable plates/bowls/utensils and napkins are provided. Our lab is large bright clean and includes: -20 microtomy stations with Leica microtomes a water bath a cold plate a computer and an ESPO printer -2 sakura and 4 Leica embedding stations -6 Peloris processors -DreamPath block filing system one Leica and one Sakura automated HE stainers/coverslippers glass -4 Dako Artisan special stainers brand new not yet validated for patient tissue ClaraPath SectionStar automated microtome automatically cuts slides from blocks. We work with IHC but they have their own manager and staff. Their instruments include multiple platforms including 13 Bond 3s Dako Omnis 2 Sakura Genies and a few Benchmarks. About the Role
The role of the Histotechnologist at U.S. Urology Partners is to perform histology laboratory procedures under the direction of the Laboratory Director or designated Pathologist. The Histotechnologist position requires a highly organized individual who can safely manage more than one task at a time and move efficiently throughout the processes. The Histotechnologist must be able to work and interact as part of a team. Clerical and non-specific duties may be done by a non-histotechnologist under the guidance of the histotechnologist.
What You'll Be Doing
Clerical Duties:
Receives biopsy specimens, assigns case number and maintains a logbook.
Orders the appropriate Pathology report template and completes template in Electronic Medical Records system as required.
Maintains an accurate filing system for pathology reports, slides and blocks.
Responsible for sending out slides or blocks for consults, typing this data into the computer and refilling material when they are returned.
Orders laboratory supplies to ensure adequate on-site inventory at all times.
Monitors and records temperatures for histology equipment.
Ensures proper documentation is obtained prior to sending patient slides to medical institutions.
Specific Histology Duties:
Gross processing of specimens.
Embeds and processes tissue.
Sections specimens on microtome.
Creates and labels microscope slides for examination.
Performs and documents routine maintenance on laboratory equipment.Monitors liquid waste material volumes and coordinates with recycling locations for safe removal.
Maintains working knowledge of OSHA, CLIA, HIPAA compliance, and Joint Commission standards and applies these policies and procedures to daily responsibilities.
Regularly submits biopsy data to the NYSDOH Cancer Registry. Observes daily workload limits for prostate biopsy cases and miscellaneous biopsy cases.
Monitors and ensures required specimen retention times are met before specimen disposal.
Non-specific Histology Duties:
Stains tissue slides using manual or automated processes.
May be asked to assists the Laboratory Pathologist with any changes to or improvements to the staining process.
Performs QI on cytology specimens
Covers slip specimen slides.
Performs all other duties as assigned.

Reasoning Ability

Basic Qualifications

Ensure that tissue specimens are optimally processes, oriented and embedded appropriately(according to tissue type)
Perform routine microtomy with both a high level of speed and quality
Prepares stains and other reagents for routine staining
Ensures that all chemical wastes are disposed of in the appropriate manner
Perform routine daily maintenance on laboratory equipment including proper documentation

Our CSMs are trusted strategic advisors to revenue and operational leaders. They drive strategic plans and business transformation while delivering measurable business impact. RESPONSIBILITIES
Be a trusted strategic advisor to senior revenue and revenue operations leaders to uncover business outcomes and strategically map those to Gong value
Own overall customer relationships and drive engagement and adoption, mine and measure value, unearth and mitigate risk, and create customer advocacy.
Drive quarterly metrics around portfolio net growth, gross dollar retention, and multi-year renewals
Partner with our Implementation team to ensure customers onboard successfully and achieve quick time-to-value against their desired outcomes
Partner with Account Executives to secure retention and growth of your portfolio through upsell and cross-sell motions.
Work successfully with a wide variety of cross-functional internal partners
Proactively identify and lead team process improvements and help us build a world-class CSM team!
QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of relevant work, specifically B2B enterprise SaaS customer success OR consulting experience

The annual salary hiring range for this position is $95,000 - $103,000 USD OTE (70/30 split).
