Store personal items such as dentures, eyeglasses, combs, brushes in sanitary and convenient manner in proper containers. Make continuous observation of housekeeping and maintenance needs, e.g. broken fixtures, burned out light bulbs, soiled floors and curtains, and report needs promptly. Maintain bedside care supplies, e.g. gloves, tissues, toothpaste, use charge system to record supplies obtained from facility stock. Notify Charge Nurse to have them call if items are to be supplied by family. Maintain all service areas in clean and orderly condition. Assist in assuring the maximum quality of life for all residents maintaining privacy, accommodating individual preference, promoting independence, encouraging and assisting participation in facility activities and events and communication respectfully at all times. Respond to all call lights promptly. Keep call light within reach of all residents when unattended. Maintain continuous communication with team leader.
