The Omnibus Act also reasserted the independence and authority of the OCFO after the Control Board had become a dormant administrative agency on September 30, 2001, following four consecutive years of balanced budgets and clean audits.

2006

In 2006 CFO Selections’ service offerings grew with the addition of Executive Search services for financial executives in the for-profit and nonprofit sectors.

2008

Aside from a brief lull during the “Great Recession” of 2008, CFO Selections has expanded.

CFO Selections expansion continued in 2010 into Eastern Washington.

In 2013 our expansion continued into Oregon.

In December 2014, the City exited from bankruptcy with a restructured balance sheet and the groundwork for a restructured financial management organization.

A new brand was established in 2018 in the Valtas Group, to provide interim Executive Directors and ED recruiting for nonprofit organizations.

2019
