What You'll Do:
Promote Safety- Take an active role prioritizing safety for yourself and others to ensure all assigned plants have zero accidents and are in total compliance with all P&K Stone policies and procedures and MSHA Regulations.
Organize and Plan Production- Plan the daily operation scheduling of production to ensure optimal utilization of plant and pit equipment, personnel and inventory requirements, and work procedures regarding processing, stockpiling, loading and shipping of raw and finished materials. Responsible for all aspects of the process and maintenance of the plant.
Monitor Processes and Materials- Analyze production and quality control to ensure a quality product is received by our customers.
Maintenance- The Lead Man shall also inspect equipment pre-and post-shift, assist and organize the work of employees in the daily inspection and maintenance of plant and heavy equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations to maximize production and minimize interruption to process.

Job Summary
The Direct Support Supervisor is responsible for assisting the HCS Case Manager in the overall operation of the HCS program as well as preforming consumer direct support duties.
Essential Job Functions:
Safety and general welfare of consumers during duty hours
Proper personal hygiene of all consumers
Making sure all consumers are properly dressed for the weather and occasion before leaving the home
Properly documenting behaviors addressed in consumer's behavior management plan(s) and observing all consumers for unusual behaviors, which are not addressed but have cause for attention
Modeling appropriate personal behavior and appearance at all times
Proper administration and documentation of consumer's medications to include PRN's and standing orders as prescribed by physician with proper follow-up
Providing training on formal objectives as scheduled and provides informal training in appropriate social skills and community involvement (voting, attending church, outings or special activities)
Transporting individuals to and from work/school, doctor's appointments and outings in the community
Purchasing food supplies for the community home and properly store, label and/or date items.
Knowledge of personal diets of consumers and proper implementation of diets
Proper documentation on all required forms
General housekeeping duties
Filing materials in appropriate location
Scheduling staff at least a week in advance
Completing assessments for the development of person centered plans
Training and supervising other staff members
Compliance with all safety and OSHA rules along with all other EPM policies and procedures
Communicating appropriate with individual's families
Accounting of all consumers' whereabouts
Out of town travel (vacations, Doctor's appointments)
Assisting consumers with making
Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
Effectively read, write and communicate verbally in English and must be able to read and understand instructions, perform record-keeping and write reports
Valid driver's license which meets Evergreen requirements for insurance purposes and proof of liability coverage if a vehicle is owned
Meet and maintain all requirements of the applicable state agency(ies), including good standing with state abuse and neglect registry
Submit to and pass drug screen and criminal background check
Ability to learn basic computer skills (i.e. turn on/off, log in/out, input data, approve timesheet)
Prior experience as a direct support worker preferred
Physical Demands

Working Environment
Must provide own dependable vehicle for performance of assigned duties. Will work in a lighted, air conditioned and centrally heated residence.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position will have direct reports.
Special Requirements
Must be able to work various shifts as needed to ensure staff coverage. Will be on call 24 hours, 7 days a week.
Will perform any other related duties by the case manager or Division Director.
