Use appropriate cleaning and disinfecting agents in patient care and high-risk areas. Place wet floor signs and follow safety procedures to prevent slips, trips, and falls. Adhere to OSHA, CDC, and hospital safety guidelines. Customer Service and Communication Interact professionally and respectfully with patients, visitors, and staff. Respond to floor care requests in a timely and courteous manner. Communicate issues such as damaged flooring, safety hazards, or spills to EVS leadership promptly. Documentation and Compliance Complete required documentation, logs, and checklists accurately and on time. Follow hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements Participate in audits, inspections, and quality improvement initiatives.
