5) Lock and unlock buildings; secure building when faculties are not in use by checking for
unlocked doors and windows; report any unauthorized occupants.
6) Follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies.
7) May move furniture, equipment, supplies and tools.
8) May pick up and deliver school district mail for district office.
9) May clean and paint surfaces.
10) May manually or with self-propelled equipment remove snow or debris from sidewalks,
stairs, driveways and entry ways.
11) Rake leaves and sweep debris; remove debris from school grounds; remove snow and ice
from outside entrances, sidewalks, driveways and access roads.
12) Respond to damage caused by vandalism immediately.

15) Remain at duty site the entire shift for emergency and security purposes.

Public, Student and Teacher Relations
* Employees will be asked to wear a simple uniform and/or name tag while on duty, which will identify them as "Facilities Worker". Appearance is required to be well kept and clean.
* Good public relations are a MUST! Common courtesy, diplomacy and common sense are expected.
* Custodial staff may, if necessary, ask students to leave the building if they are causing problems. Report all such problems to the supervisor and principal.
* In all cases dealing with students, custodial staffs are expected to use mature judgment.
* People should not be allowed in the building unsupervised.
* A teacher's request for a custodial worker to do specific work should be referred to the supervisor, unless no serious interruption of work schedule will occur
Minimum Qualifications:
* Physical ability to lift 75 lbs. occasionally and 50 lbs. often.
* Experience in custodial duties/general maintenance.
* High school Diploma or equivalent.

• Communication:
o Timely and complete communication of project statuses to CA Director, Community Association Management, and Community Services and other impacted entities.

CWU is accepting applications for individuals to perform clerical and/or general office support work in various departments throughout campus and at all centers/sites. These positions are designated as temporary/hourly positions.
Each department will assign job duties specific to their needs. However, in general temporary/hourly clerical positions are used to fulfill temporary needs in clerical/office-related duties such as:
* Maintaining paper and/or electronic (digital) based filing systems.
* Performing receptionist duties; responding to in-person, phone, or email customers frequently in offices with high volumes of traffic.
* Scheduling appointments for office staff.
* Performing data entry into a variety of spreadsheets and/or databases; running queries to extract data.
* Performing complex word processing tasks such as merging and sorting, uploading/downloading.
* Maintaining department or program website.
* Taking and transcribing meeting minutes.
* Performing back-up duties for vacant positions and/or staff members who may be out of the office.
Minimum Qualifications
Each department will have individual required qualifications for specific jobs. However, in general temporary/hourly clerical jobs require:
* Prior office/clerical experience
* Software skills such as Word, Excel, Access, email, web maintenance
* Excellent oral and written communication skills

Pay & Work Schedule
Pay: $16.66 per hour to $40.00 per hour/Dependent on position and experience
Additional information: This announcement will be used to develop a pool of applicants for temporary/hourly clerical or office support positions through January 31, 2026. Working Conditions: Clerical/office-related positions work in an office setting, typically with frequent in-person interactions. Some amount of mobility may be required in order to perform the essential functions of the specific job such as retrieving files, data entry, and responding to customers needs. Depending on the departments needs, occasional evening/weekend work and travel may be required.
Benefits: All Student and Temporary/Hourly positions are eligible to accrue paid sick leave. This leave will accrue at one (1) hour of paid sick leave for every 40 hours of work.

The Emergency Department is a Level 3 trauma center with 20 beds. Accredited Chest Pain Center and Mission Life Line Heart Attack Receiving Center. The department treats approximately 36,000 patients per year.
The patient populations served will include those patients with non-urgent, semi-urgent, semi-emergent, and emergent conditions of all ages. Provides assessment, evaluation, stabilization, and management of all life-threatening, emergent, urgent, and non-urgent conditions to all ages. Patients are triaged by a RN at the bedside immediately if available. A Physician or midlevel provider assesses and provides a medical screening exam.
