The schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. for a total of 36 hours per week and any holidays that fall on the regular schedule. **A one-time sign on bonus is available to qualified individuals for up to $10,000 (less taxes) with a 2 year service commitment.** **Job Summary:** Under general direction, interpret and report test results. Perform routine and complex technical laboratory analyses using established procedures and protocols. Perform chemical, microscopic, and bacteriologic tests to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of patients. **Job Responsibilities and Requirements:** PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES + Performs a full range of laboratory tests from simple blood tests to more complex tests. + Interprets test reports and communicates findings to physicians. + Escalates unusual, critical or abnormal results. + Operates complex electronic equipment, computers and precision instruments. + Maintains accuracy of equipment and reagents by performing established preventive maintenance procedures. + Assists providers in choosing appropriate lab test. + Performs and evaluates quality control procedures. + Operates, maintains, calibrates and troubleshoots instruments. + Assists with the proper storage of hazardous materials. + Reviews current literature and attends meetings and seminars to keep informed of new developments in field. + Assists in the proficiency testing program in the lab. + Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. + Performs other duties as assigned.     Part-time Description We are seeking a Medication Technician to join our team at Platinum Communities. Med Techs provide high quality personal care and service to residents as directed by the Administrator. The cares will support the personal choices of the residents while maintaining consistency with regulations and established best practices. Med Techs are responsible for proper management and distribution of resident medications as defined by medication administration policies and procedures. This position may include working every other weekend and scheduled holidays. Requirements To be considered: Must be at least 18 years of age.
