Key Responsibilities: Performs phlebotomy procedures with high focus on attention to detail; properly identifying the patient prior to obtaining the specimen and accurate labeling of the specimen. Performs EKGs as well as assistance with other laboratory functions. Releasing orders from LIS on patients. Maintains the necessary precautions to follow bloodborne pathogen guidelines.
