Job Responsibilities Assist the cardiologist or radiologist directly in the Cath Lab during the performance of all invasive cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures. Participate actively in all three primary procedural roles: monitoring, scrubbing, and circulating duties. Operate radiographic and cardiovascular equipment safely and effectively, maintaining strict adherence to ALARA standards throughout all procedures. Maintain current knowledge of new procedures, equipment, and exam protocols to ensure the highest level of care and technical proficiency. Assist with maintaining supply inventory at acceptable levels to ensure the lab is fully stocked and operational for scheduled and emergency procedures. Ensure a safe and sterile environment for the patient throughout the entire procedure within the scope of the technologist's practice.
