*About the Unit: *
The laboratory at Mount Carmel Dublin will provide a wide range of laboratory procedures that will aid clinicians in diagnosing, treating, and managing patients. There will be comprehensive testing in the specialties of hematology, chemistry, coagulation, urinalysis, blood gases, molecular, and blood banking. Located on the 1st floor will be an Outpatient Lab Service Center that will provide convenient hours for patients to have their blood drawn. Self-scheduling will be available to allow for little to no wait times. This laboratory will house all new state of the art instrumentation along with EPIC Beaker laboratory information system. The laboratory team will interact with other Dublin Hospital health care professionals to coordinate the best patient care experience.

Located at Atrium Medical Center (Middletown, OH) Part-Time Night Shift (10:00 PM - 6:30 AM) With Weekend Rotation Responsibilities: Perform all tests in an accurate and efficient manner following established policies and procedures. Perform and record daily and/or routine maintenance and quality control on all equipment or reagents used for testing.
Recognize problems with instruments, reagents, test results and/or supplies and initiates problem solving procedures.
Record all results in an accurate, complete and readable format, utilizes computer systems correctly to generate results and notifies clients appropriately of panic value results.

Qualifications:
Associates or Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Medical Laboratory Science (MLT/MLS/CLS).
ASCP or AMT certification (or eligible) or comparable required.
Physical & Safety Demands:
Visual acuity and hand-finger dexterity to work at computer for extended periods.
Perform accurate data entry and data analysis in a potentially noisy environment.
Complete integrity and accuracy in test performance and results reporting.
Read/see small print on labels.
Lift and carry, with both hands, weights up to 20 pounds for distances up to 50 yards.
