Position Summary:
A Clinical Lab Scientist performs diagnostic testing on patient samples to aid physicians in the diagnosis and/or monitoring of various disease states.
Follows standardized procedures and helps prepare samples for testing. Operates laboratory equipment in a high-quality, effective manner. Analyzes test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits, and reports/documents results per organizational standards. Performs automated tests using computerized instruments & automated equipment. Runs tests and analyzes the results to be reported to the patient, physician or registered nurse. Performs Quality Assurance work to ensure accuracy of equipment. Willing and able to demonstrate appropriate core competencies annually or as requested. Performs and determines accuracy of technical lab procedures. Maintains records of procedures performed, the patient results and the quality control required for all procedures performed. Maintains accurate and complete records of all quality control tests completed. Assures that all out-of-control procedures are followed and that there is documentation of remedial actions taken. Performs all preventive maintenance of laboratory instrumentation, as assigned. Reads and understands all procedure manuals on an annual basis. Collects biological specimens. Prepares and forwards biological specimens to appropriate reference laboratory according to departmental procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Education Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Lab Services Required
Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Job Overview
Seeking an experienced Cath Lab Tech to support day-to-day Cath Lab operations and provide coverage for 24/7 STEMI on-call services. This role requires strong technical expertise, critical thinking, and the ability to respond quickly in high-acuity cardiac cases. A 30-minute on-call response time is required.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years Cath Lab experience
BLS and ACLS required
ARRT (R) required
Kentucky license required
Experience in acute or community hospital settings preferred
Comfortable working with a 1:1 patient ratio
Epic charting experience
Responsibilities
Scrub, circulate, and monitor Cath Lab procedures
Maintain sterile technique and prep access sites
Perform EKG lead placement and accurate patient monitoring
Recognize and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias
Operate, maintain, and stock Cath Lab equipment
Support rapid response and code teams
