    Lockheed Martin is seeking a highly motivated individual to provide leadership for a team of Quality Engineers in support of IRST program. This Program Quality Engineering Associate Manager will have scope in all phases of the IRST program's life cycle: development, production, and sustainment; encompassing multiple MFC manufacturing sites and centers. What You Will Be Doing This Program Quality Engineering Associate Manager will lead a team of direct reports as well as participate and be accountable for multiple Quality roles and responsibilities. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: IRST Quality Risk Indicator (QRI) Operational Health Index (OHI) Corrective Action Board (CAB) Failure Review Boards (FRB) Preliminary Material Review (PMR) Material Review Board (MRB) Yield Improvement AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI) Program Baseline Reviews, INAR's, and PAR's External and Internal Audits Customer Briefings Other responsibilities include: Personnel training, mentoring, work assignments, workload allocation, performance assessment inputs and recognition / disciplinary action inputs. Driving process, quality and technical improvements. Drive and facilitate root cause and corrective action (RCCA). Support Proposal / Basis of Estimates (BOE) inputs. Support risk mitigation activities and design/technical reviews. Work with internal cross-functions such as engineering, operations, global supply chain, program management, and planning to support IRST program goals, objectives, and commitments. Analysis of performance data and effectiveness of corrective & preventative actions. Lead, facilitate, and support resolution of critical/complex technical or operational problems. Will assure relevant standards, specifications, procedures, and processes are implemented and are adhered to during program operations. The following skills / experience are required to be successful in the position: A complete understanding of quality tasks as they pertain to risk management, hardware development, manufacturing, and customer support. Must possess a high-level of adaptability and have a proven ability to demonstrate focus on achieving positive results. A strong process aptitude and demonstrated advocacy required, including proven technical ability and business judgement. Must be able to perform and lead a team as well as demonstrate a customer-focused work environment, maintaining effective communication with internal/external customers including Government Representatives and DCMA. Ability to coordinate with Engineering, Operations, Program Management, as well as equivalents from MFC Manufacturing sites and centers on product quality issues and effective issue resolution. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 - $184,115.
