    The Mechanical Designer/Drafter I role assists a team of engineering staff to design components, parts & assemblies, and to create engineering drawings, engineering change orders, bills of materials, and other related engineering documentation. The Designer/Drafter works with engineers and manufacturing personnel to create new designs & drawings, modify existing designs & drawings, document design changes, update bills of materials, and shepherd documents through the configuration management system.     * Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for custom pool covers and liners based on client specifications and site measurements. * Interpret engineering plans to integrate pool cover and liner designs. * Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and installation teams to ensure design feasibility and accuracy. * Revise drawings based on feedback and field changes. * Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and project documentation. * Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety standards, and company guidelines. * Assist in estimating material quantities and costs for custom designs. * Support the development of installation guides and fabrication instructions. Requirements: * At least 4+ years of drafting experience. * Proficiency in AutoCAD (SolidWorks is a big plus) * Mechanical troubleshooting experience. * Strong understanding of design and drafting processes.
