What you'll do: In this function, you will: * Operate computerized VSS stock storage system or SAP system for various manufacturing, shipping, and assembly operations. * Process in a timely manner, the flow of materials through the VSS system or shipping area. * Interact with other departments and supervisors as needed for advice and decisions. * Accurately read shipping and order papers and cross check shipments accordingly with orders. * Process and account for all transfer paperwork of stock in plant or shipments out of plant. * Kit, distribute and count parts for distribution to manufacturing as needed. * Perform annual physical inventory and cycle counts on inventory as requested. * Collect and re-fill Kanban bins as need on the production floor in partnership with Material Handlers. * Exercise extreme care in operation of motorized vehicles. * Initiate contact with marketing regarding discrepancies between sales orders and sales schedules. * Pack, store, crate, cut, locate, expedite, (un) load, and move material for production or shipment. * Perform work from specifications, and / or communicated instructions.
