The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the successful delivery of each project through management of internal staff, external contractors, financial control, and management of change.
Responsibilities:
Lead moderate to large sized projects and make decisions and recommendations on technical or complex issues
Exercise considerable judgment and initiative in interpreting policy in the planning and implementation of major work assignments
Work with the project team to create all design documents and drawings, including Power and Controls drawings and associated documentation.
Specification development for the procurement, installation and testing of electrical equipment.

Apply engineering application software to complete engineering tasks such as site modeling and analysis

Requirements:
BS in Electrical Engineering discipline.
5+ years of related experience.
PE license preferred
Industrial electrical control system and/or power system design experience strongly desired
Experience in the design of complex control systems, PLC design, SCADA, instrumentation, control cabinet layouts, control narratives, cause & effect, and network architectures are desired
Experience in design of complex high, medium, and low voltage power systems, electrical equipment upgrades, arc flash hazards analysis, switchgear, motor control centers, drives, service entrance, emergency power and power distribution equipment is desired
Direct experience related to industrial facilities
Experience in use of CadWorx Electrical and AutoDesk programs is desired
Knowledge in the application of the National Electrical Code, NFPA 70E, API, and AGA recommended practices
Knowledge and understanding of electrical area classification (hazardous areas)
Field experience supporting projects that are in construction a plus
Broad electrical background, including experience in control systems and/or motor control centers is a plus

As a Project Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the electrical design and coordinating electrical systems using both AutoCAD and Revit including the creation of construction documents and specifications. Responsibilities include executing quality assurance/quality control plans, mentoring and training, coordinating with other disciplines, performing supporting calculations, meeting with clients to discuss conceptual and final designs, and travel to job sites for observation. Our electrical design services can include power distribution, lighting, arc flash studies, and electrical modeling.
