    NPD Engineering Manager The New Product Development (NPD) Engineering Manager is responsible for leading the end-to-end development of innovative products from concept through production, ensuring they meet performance, quality, cost, and schedule goals. This role oversees and mentors a multidisciplinary engineering team, fostering a high-performance culture and actively developing technical talent to support both product needs. The NPD Engineering Manager plays a critical role in driving technical excellence, project execution, and cross-functional collaboration with product management, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams. As an NPD Engineering Manager you will: Be responsible for management of multi-facility global design teams in a Stage-Gate process. Coordinate the activities of mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing engineers to complete designs, build test units, and create documentation. Responsible for managing resources within the departmental team to be in line with workload and schedule commitments on projects, delegating/allocating tasks and responsibilities to team members Develop schedules, coordinate and manage projects of all complexity levels with little to no supervision. Responsible for preparation and monitoring of project budgets in area of responsibility. Responsible for departmental project designs meet requirements of specification and standards while promoting error-proof assembly. Responsible for coordination with specification writers to ensure project feasibility. Ensure design personnel utilize Lean design and manufacturing processes and follow good design control practices. Deliver innovate designs that meet profit, cost, quality, and time-to-market metrics. Oversee construction and testing of prototype components or assemblies as required in the development and approval process. Perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting on the new and existing products and processes Work with third party vendors and/or partners to develop high quality, lowest cost design options. Interface with purchasing and vendors in the selection and approval of component parts and assemblies. Prepare written documentation of processes, material requirements, test results and project activity as required. Create / revise G&W standards as needed. Continuously improve engineering processes including DFX, project and product costs, quality, and project lead times. Participate in industry organizations (associations, standards committees, etc) to stay informed of and to influence industry activities. Provide Engineering support to Sales/Marketing and Manufacturing on new and existing products and processes. Help to train departmental teams on the application and customer use of G&W products. Consult with Customer representatives to discuss product requirements and specifications when design or manufacturing problems are involved Develop direct reports' work skills to improve department quality, throughput and to reduce scrap/rework. Overview We are seeking an Instrumentation & Control Engineer to join Hawiyah Gas Plant Division (HGPD) within the Southern Area Gas Operations (SAGO) HGPD huge Gas processing facility processing gases from multiple streams. The plant is located around 70 KM from AlHassa, Eastern Reign of Saudi Arabia. The plant products are HC condensate, Sales Gas and Liquid Sulfur. The plant consists of complex processing units with huge number of instrumentations and measurement devices to ensure the safe, effective and reliable operations. Your primary role is to work as technical support engineer, developing Engineering design packages, participate in plant trip troubleshooting and investigation, and review project documentations. Key Responsibilities As a successful candidate you will be required to perform the following: Lead and execute complex instrumentation and control engineering tasks for oil & gas processing facilities, including FEED, detailed design, commissioning, maintenance support, and brownfield/greenfield projects. Lead design and engineering activities for field instrumentation in oil & gas process units. Perform instrument selection, sizing, configuration, and preparation of datasheets for transmitters, process analyzers, control valves, emergency shutdown valves and machinery instrumentation such as vibration monitoring, compressor control, Fire & Gas system. Develop and review P&IDs, I/O lists, instrument index, hook-up drawings, loop diagrams, installation details. and material requisitions. Ensure compliance with hazardous area classifications and selection of appropriate Ex-rated instruments. Conduct vendor technical bid evaluations, FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test) inspections, and interface with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) Conduct root-cause analysis for recurring instrumentation issues and provide effective solutions. Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain DCS, PLC, ESD, and F&G systems using major platforms (such as Yokogawa CENTUM/ProSafe-RS), Compressor Control System such as CCC, Vibration Monitoring System. Develop and review control system architectures, network topologies, logic diagrams, cause & effect charts, and control narratives. Perform control loop tuning, advanced control strategy review, and alarm management tasks (ISA 18.2 / EEMUA 191). Support system integration and communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Foundation Fieldbus, OPC UA, HART, Ethernet/IP).
