Qualifications

Overview
The Correctional Officer 2 is responsible for correctional work of average difficulty; and performs related work as required. This is the working level class in the Correctional Officer sub-series. This class is flexibly staffed with and differs from the Correctional Officer 1, in that an incumbent of the latter performs entry-level work. General Medical Requirements: As determined by OPM the duties of this position require moderate to arduous physical exertion involving walking and standing, use of firearms, and exposure to inclement weather. Description of Key Responsibilities
1. Provide security services to the college community by enforcing College policies, patrolling campus, and securing assigned areas or buildings.

Position Summary: Monday - Friday
Daily supervision of students, school building, grounds and perimeter of school in concert with other security personnel, under the direction of supervisor(s), to ensure safety of pupils, personnel, visitors, and property, as well as maintenance of OPRFHS Code of Conduct and other applicable rules.

1. Supervise interior and exterior of school, grounds, and in concert with other security personnel as assigned.
