POSITION SPECIFICS
Candidates are invited to apply for the Assistant Teaching Professor of Special Education. This position is a Full-Time, Non-Tenure-Line faculty position with a renewable 36-week appointment to support the Special Education certification program. To be considered for the Assistant Teaching Professor of Special Education, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
Education: The selected candidate will be required to have a doctoral degree in Special Education or a related area and a special education teaching certification before starting their appointment in August 2026.
Expertise: The preferred candidate will demonstrate expertise in special education, literacy, and teacher preparation, understand the role of special education services for schools, communities, students, and families, and possess a working knowledge of the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) requirements for special education courses and certificate programs.
Experience: The preferred candidates will demonstrate a record of teaching, understanding of current special education practices, and scholarship in a relevant field.

Summary:
The William & Mary School of Education invites applications for a clinical, non-tenure eligible position in counseloreducation to start in the Fall 2026 semester. This is a full-time, twelve-month, position whose primary responsibility will consist of teaching in the online counseloreducation program. Courses in the online counseling program (except for fieldwork) are taught over 7.5-week terms. Penn State's College of Education seeks a dynamic, collaborative faculty member to join its nationally recognized online World Campus Doctor of Education (DEd). This non-tenure-line position, at the Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor level, involves teaching, advising, and program development in a fully online, asynchronous environment. Professors Job Description: The University of Toledo Judith Herb College of Arts, Social Sciences and Education is seeking a tenure track assistant professor of higher education with teaching and research strengths in areas surrounding higher education policy, finance, law, and governance and administration. A PhD in higher education or a field closely related to higher education is required. The successful candidate will have expertise in online instruction, including use of video conferencing platforms. Expertise in quantitative research methods will be preferred. Preference will also be given to a candidate with administrative/leadership experience and background in a K-12 system. The successful candidate will teach graduate courses in these and related areas, coordinate a graduate program, advise graduate students and chair dissertations, and develop a line of scholarly inquiry leading to publication in Higher Education or a related field. Additionally, the candidate is expected to collaborate within the program, the department, and the university in a wide range of related duties which may include program assessment, developing curriculum, recruiting, advising, and assisting with securing grants.
