POSITION SUMMARY
The Mental Health Coordinator is responsible for the development, implementation, clinical and/or administrative supervision, and monitoring of a Behavioral Health services delivery system in MA DOC Secure Treatment Units meeting NCCHC/ACA standards. The Mental Health Coordinator works with the Regional Manager, Site Administrator, Medical Director, and Psychiatrist to coordinate total contract services in MA DOC Secure Treatment Units

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Must be fluent in English language, including reading, writing, and must be able to communicate and exchange accurate information. Must be a supportive team member, who contributes to and demonstrates teamwork and team concept. Able to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCES
Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field from an accredited college or university.
Licensed to practice behavioral health services in the state where services are being delivered (LICSW or LMHC required).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTION
Acts as point of contact for administrative staff for discussion of treatment unit programs and problem resolution as needed.
Coordinates development and revision of policies and procedures for the identification, assessment, and provision of required clinical services for inmates housed in Secure Treatment Units.
Supervises the planning, development and implementation of treatment programs contracted to VitalCore.
Provides clinical and/or administrative supervision to staff of Behavioral Health Services within Secure Treatment Units.
Monitors efforts of Behavioral Health Services in Secure Treatment Units to ensure clinical services are being provided in a timely, professional manner.
Provides and assigns clinical on-call duties.
Provides direct clinical services including individual and group treatment, crisis intervention, as well as providing shadowing and mentor opportunities to front-line clinical staff.
Ensures treatment programs contracted are integrated and appropriately staffed.
Provides administrative support to behavioral health staff.
Coordinates with the facility's Behavioral Health Quality Improvement Program.
Attends training and meetings as required.
Maintain proficiency with all software required for the position, and more specifically, clinical documentation in the designated electronic health record system.
Other duties as assigned.

About Us Founded in 2023 By a dedicated team of pediatric physical therapist, pediatric speech therapist, special educator, pediatrician, and parents of children with disabilities, Stepping Stones Pediatric Therapy has grown to be a team of 21 experienced therapists who work together to bring a love for children and progressive, innovative ideas together in order to help our clients achieve their goals. Since our start, we have opened our spacious, well-equipped clinic with devices such as LiteGait and SoloStep, a wide variety of therapeutic toys and activities, multiple iPads set up for AAC device trials and a large, open sensory room. We are running multiple skill groups each week and holding monthly developmental screenings, monthly caregiver trainings, and offering weekly respite sessions. This summer, we introduced therapy intensives to NH with wonderful gains made by each client who participated in an intensive week or multiple weeks of services. At our clinic, we are now averaging over 360 therapy sessions each month and services include physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, feeding therapy, augmentative and alternative communication with therapists trained and certified in a wide variety of innovative practices.

Courses taught during the summer may be counted within overall teaching load during the academic year.
Required Qualifications:

Evidence of teaching experience at the post-secondary level for at least 5 years.

Overview: We are excited to offer a Spring 2026 Work Instruction Internship opportunity. Our internships are designed to provide students with meaningful, real-work experience in their chosen field, helping to develop the skills necessary for a successful career. Interns will work closely with mentors to gain exposure to a fast-paced, innovative manufacturing environment.
The Work Instruction Intern performs the following essential functions:
Develop and maintain clear, accurate work instructions by collaboration with subject matter experts, and Quality Analysts, creating new documentation where gaps exist and standardizing or revising existing materials
Develop proficiency in relevant EIM systems and tools (LabelTraxx, Bartender, Illustrate, etc.) to support documentation activities
Ensure all work instructions align with organizational standards, formatting guidelines, and process accuracy requirements
What We're Looking For:
A current student pursuing an associate or bachelor's degree with a focus on a related field who has the following skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organization and attention to detail
Mechanical Aptitude
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
Typing proficiency
Microsoft Suite proficiency
