Drives gasoline or diesel powered tractor trailer combination to transport and deliver products, livestock, or materials in liquid, loose, or packaged form by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Drives truck to destination. Inspects truck for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition. Maintains driver log according to I.C. regulations. Assists workers in loading and unloading truck. Compensation Range The good faith estimate for this role is between 24.25 USD and 32.50 USD per hour for a new team member. This Fuel Driver will be responsible for covering other driver routes, both residential and commercial as needed for vacations, sick, etc. There will be times when the duties include running transport loads as well. The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule working two or three weekdays and be available for weekend loads when needed. There is no guarantee of overtime, but the position is considered full-time for benefit eligibility. Job Duties Safely load and unload refined fuels and fuel oil to residential and commercial customers Responsible for preparing and maintaining records, and operating truck according to federal regulations and company safety procedures Conduct pre-trip inspections such as checking fuel and oil levels, inspecting tires, lights and brakes Flexibility to run customer route deliveries and/or some transport loads Must maintain a clean truck and perform required preventative maintenance Qualifications Requirements Class A CDL (REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED) Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements (or ability to obtain) No restrictions on license Clean driving record No DUI or OVI for the past five years Current DOT Medical Certificate and ability to maintain a minimum of annual recertification Understand that overtime is not guaranteed Previous fuel delivery experience is helpful, but not mandatory.
