Specific efforts include support to analyze, design, and deploy, advanced technology software modeling and simulation solutions to add capability and improve performance to the microelectronics-based Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Information Management (C4IM), intelligence collection and analysis, Command and Control (C2) logistical systems. The individual will provide technical, operational, and advisory services to enable the development of this advanced secure modeling and simulation capabilities for C4IM, intelligence collection and analysis, C2 and logistical responsibilities.
The Principal Data Scientist will research and enable processing of structured and unstructured data to derive patterns, trends, and correlations and to enable entity extraction, disambiguation, common operating picture solutions, visualization, and other data-related support. Implement improvements to data entity extraction, entity resolution, pattern extraction, link analysis, human and social-network links/connections, cloud online analytical processing, data frameworks, visualization support, and related algorithms. Create, modify, and maintain software capabilities that extract insight from data, to include information, software applications, machine learning models, automation, and other software components.
This position will be hybrid. Work locations will include Sterling, VA; Rockville, MD; Mount Laurel, NJ; Orlando, FL; Huntsville, AL. Other major BAE Systems work locations may also be considered.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or other degree that would provide the necessary skills to effectively develop programs, or equivalent work experience.
1-3 years of experience in professional services, client implementation, and/or data migrations.
Working knowledge of multiple system/database platforms (MSSQL, Oracle, AS400, Windows, etc.) is a plus.
Knowledge of generalized business practices, accounting reports, financial reports, and payroll reports is a plus.
Working knowledge and abilities in programming using Java, Python, SQL, and other related technologies.

We're looking for Mid-Level and Senior Level DataEngineers to help us transform how consumers interact with real estate data. Smarter Agent has every residential listing in North America updating multiple times per day on behalf of our real estate customers. You will manage and create systems to utilize these data sets and drive innovation within our SAAS Platform.
Recommend and implement data processing tools and technologies to keep us at the forefront of real estate dataengineering, data science, data architecture and evolve our data stack.
Extract, transform and load data pipelines from end-to-end.
Create, develop and document data mapping rules.
Perform data cleansing and transformation of data.
Write specifications from which conversion programs will be written.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure that the specifications meet the business and system requirements.
Utilize tools and programs to analyze and convert data to a standardized format.
Recommend and implement data processing tools and technologies to keep us at the forefront of real estate dataengineering and data science.
Develop continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

You MUST have prior Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience as well as worked in scripting languages like Python to aggregate, gather, and manipulate data.

You should have advanced Microsoft Excel experience.
You should have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
