2. Sales Floor

5. Product Knowledge
Product knowledge is the skill of having better information and knowledge about the product you are selling. 10. Loss Prevention
The steps taken by a business to prevent theft is called loss prevention. There are multiple methods for loss prevention for example usage of automated cash handling, secure physical location, product security staff buy-in, and attentive customer service.
- Trained all new associates on registers, customer service, policies and procedures, and loss prevention.
- Assist in strategies of loss prevention, shrink and optimizing levels of inventory to compliment seasonality.
11. POS
POS is an abbreviation of "Point of Sale" which is the time and place where a customer completes a transaction. It can either be a physical shop that consists of POS terminals or a virtual shop. A POS system helps simplify the retail functions and track important sales data.
- Performed fast and efficient computerized cash register/credit card POS operations, cash accountability, and drive control.
- Process merchandise information through store computer system, POS register system and complete all required paperwork.
12. Sales Associates
- Organize promotions within the store and develop goals for Department Leads and Sales Associates, in order to achieve sales results.
- Delegate to sales associates the expectations, sales goals, and merchandising goals to ensure all customers were satisfied.
13. Inventory Management
