The Graphic Designer 1 will be directly involved in the development and execution of marketing and branding initiatives across various channels. We are looking for designers with a history of contributing to outstanding, multichannel advertising or marketing campaigns that look great and perform efficiently. The Graphic Designer 1 will collaborate with other designers and our marketing department to create compelling and eye-catching images and campaigns to increase our customer base. Your duties include but are not limited to developing graphic print for our clients and digital designing for our social media accounts.

In this Role:
Develops and designs all internal and external digital animation, marquee, kiosks, website, web banners, social media messages, promotional drawing displays, e-blasts, and other gaming-related digital components throughout the casino.
Designs print collateral as needed.
Performs regular review of all creative messages for usability, adherence to brand standards, and accessibility; continually looks at best practice enhancement to keep all digital messages fresh and technically current.
Understands print production and proofing process.
Develops and maintains creative asset library.
Maintains brand standards across all projects.
Responsible for maintaining the flow of projects and meeting deadlines.
Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members, and Management in both written and verbal form.
Responsible for always practicing, supporting, and promoting Gun Lake Casino Resort's “4 Diamond Service Standards.”
Maintain a high level of personal integrity on and off duty.
Practice teamwork, support fellow Team Members, and create an energized, positive, team-oriented work environment.
Interact with Guests in a friendly and courteous manner and handle all Guest opportunities promptly.
Must be able to effectively communicate both written and verbally with Guests, Team Members, and Management.

Essential Qualifications:
Must be 21+ years of age.
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university with a concentration in Graphic Design, Computer Science, Marketing, or related field required. Experience in lieu of education may be considered.
Minimum one (1) year of verifiable employment experience in the field of graphic design.
A submission of a portfolio or list of URLs is required.
Work experience in the gaming or hospitality industry is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color, and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.
Must have the manual dexterity to operate job-related equipment.
Ability to sit, walk, stand, run, and climb stairs for the duration of shift.
