Primary Responsibilities: Lead and manage interior design projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, goals, and project requirements, providing expert guidance and innovative solutions. Oversee all phases of project development, including conceptual design, design development, construction documentation, and construction administration. Collaborate with the Principal in Charge (PIC) to identify and secure opportunities for the Practice area, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives. Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, zoning laws, and regulations. Prepare and present project proposals, budgets, and schedules to clients and stakeholders. Demonstrate strong interdisciplinary capabilities, integrating both design acumen and project management expertise. Apply design and project management skills flexibly, adapting to the scale, complexity, and unique demands of each project. Navigate varying project scopes by balancing creative leadership with operational oversight, ensuring successful outcomes. Required Qualifications: Bachelor s or master s degree in architecture, Interior Design, or a related field. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in project management, with a focus on workplace and commercial interiors. Proven track record of successfully managing projects from inception to completion. Strong understanding of design principles, construction processes, and building codes. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in design and project management software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Project). Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Passion for and fundamental understanding of sustainable design. CPHD, LEED and/or WELL accreditations, progress toward licensure (NCIDQ) are pluses.
