Key Responsibilities:
Receive work assignments and customer schedules from the General Manager.
Perform scheduled and on-demand maintenance, repairs, and diagnostic services on diesel trucks, trailers, and equipment.
Communicate professionally with customers regarding job progress, estimated completion times, and service details.
Provide timely updates to the General Manager regarding job status and any changes to the schedule.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional service truck at all times.
Stock and manage daily inventory, tools, and all required documentation in the service truck (candidate must supply their own tools).
Operate the service vehicle safely and in full compliance with traffic laws and safety standards.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in diesel truck and trailer maintenance, repair, and diagnostics.
DOT Inspection Certification and Air Brake Certification required.
Must be capable of supplying and maintaining a sufficient inventory of personal tools needed to perform all job duties.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required.
Proven ability to interact directly with customers in a professional and service-oriented manner.
Comfortable working independently on all makes, models, and types of diesel vehicles and repairs.
